One of the things that inspires me most about Kelowna is the number of socially conscious and driven individuals working towards creating a culture in which young professionals, and the community as a whole, can thrive. With such an inspirational core group of leaders in the community, it is remarkable to see the innovation, passion, and integrity of these individuals. I believe that it is the networks that band these individuals together, such as the Junior Chamber International and Leadercast, that help cultivate and inspire the future and current leaders of our community.

Leadercast exists to serve individuals and organizations across all sectors who want to become intentional about raising their standard of leadership, giving the community the strength it needs to grow. Leadercast aims to create leaders worth following, regardless of their title. They do this through innovative events and digital content aimed to tug on heart strings and leave individuals with a need to do something that matters. It is this ignited passion and skill that inspires and equips a community.

Through the efforts of creating leaders worth following and instilling core values and beliefs into individuals and organizations, there is a direct correlation that can be seen between Leadercast and the Junior Chamber International. JCI is an inspiring group of young professionals in our community (and internationally) who band together to create positive impacts on communities and our world. JCI encourages the community to take action on critical challenges and pushes emerging leaders to strive for greatness. By taking action and being active citizens, JCI creates a network of individuals looking to promote positive change.

With such a high number of remarkable young professionals in our community, it is events such as Leadercast and organizations like JCI which help to actively encourage these values and beliefs. Leadercast provides the opportunity to reach a larger audience; to create an even bigger ripple. By pairing this event with JCI it will encourage and empower established and emerging leaders throughout the community in a very large way. Good leadership is inspirational, and it's organizations such as JCI and Leadercast that truly inspire.
